Description

Prints have played an important role in teaching since their first appearance in the 15th century. John Talleur (1925-2001), professor of art at the University of Kansas for forty years, was a distinguished printmaker and print collector. This exhibition will draw extensively from the Talleur collection at the University of Kansas, to show over five hundred years of artistic production. The exhibition emphasizes the role prints have played in the spread of artistic ideas over the centuries.
