This is a three-part exhibition, organized by Elizabeth Broun, curator of prints and drawings, with Yolanda de Estrada, a graduate student, to compare the Venetian-based prints of James A.M. Whistler and Canaleto to photographs by an obscure figure named Paolo Salviati, whose studios on St. Mark's Place evidently were intended to serve the tourist trade.
