Description

Organized by Bard College Curatorial Studies Program. This exhibition includes about 150 works of contemporary art created by approximately 100 artists, and other objects owned by well-known art critic Lucy Lippard. the exhibition offers viewers insight into the way Ms. Lippard lives and the kind of art she keeps around her at home. Including both fine arts objects and more ephemeral and souvenir works, it raises issues around the interaction between contemporary art and its criticism. The 100 artists represented in the collection include Judy Chicago, Luis Jimenez, Sol LeWitt, Faith Ringgold, and Robert Rauschenberg.
