Description

Organized by Professor Marsha Weidner, History of Art, University of Kansas, and the Spencer Museum of Art
Featuring twelve Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) painted scrolls from the Nelson-Atkins Museum in Kansas City, the Spencer Museum of Art and the Allen Memorial Museum at Oberlin College, the exhibition explores the connoisseurship of Chinese Ming painting. It was organized by students in a graduate seminar in Chinese art led by Professor Marsha Weidner.
