Figures in a landscape. Full-length figure in center (identified as Harlequin) clothed in red, yellow, green and blue patches of traditional costume, and wearing his traditional dark mask with protruding nose. He stands bent over a crutch and cane and has a peg leg. His head is heavily bandaged. He caries a rifle and red flag on his back. To his right is a boy caring a drum on his back. To their left is a woman in pink, yellow, and blue patched clothing that carries a child. They are on a rocky clearing with water and rocks in the right background and foliage, sky, and hills in the center and left background.
