View of a river (identified as the Arno, Florence), as seen from the an elevated vantage point (identified as the Oltrarno district). A medieval bridge with figures is in the center and many famous monuments can be seen (including the Ponte alla Carraia, the great Corsini Palace, and the campanile of the Church of Ognissanti). Buildings line the right side, diminishing in size toward the center. Figures in boats and along the water in foreground. Blue and pink sky in the upper two thirds of the image.
