Pedlar, Chelsea, Red Anchor Period. A gesticulating figure with a short, gray beard, has a black box with an open cover suspended from his neck, filled with colored ribbons and trinkets. He wears a fur-trimmed pale yellow hat, long white coat, lined and edged with fur, and a white costume. Flowers are applied to the rustic base and tree trunk.
