Recto: Image of bearded man in relief (Henry IV) facing foreword wearing armor and draping sash. He wears ruffled collar and necklace with Maltese cross pendant. At CR there is a woman (Marie de Medici) set in profile with hair tied up. Text surrounds image. Beading design forms border.

Verso: Image of man, woman and child. Man (Henry IV) at CL stands in full military dress carrying spear and shaking hands with woman (Marie de Medici). Woman wears draping material and holds shield in left hand. Nude child carries a book and stands on head of fish. At TC there is a bird with wings spread and crown in mouth.
