Description
Literature

Woven tapestry depicting a cylindrical birdcage with a domed top with a finial shaped like a ball on top of a cone. Inside the cage are four birds. There is an open door the left of the cage, about halfway down, with a bird exiting. There is another bird just outside the door. There is also a bird outside the cage on the right side, near the middle. There are flame-lie shapes around the cage which have vertical stripes and dots. There is an allover pattern of grass in the background.
