Description
Inscriptions/Signature

Table clock. Tall square clock housing with columns, cornice, crowned with a pierced top depicting foliage, figures, horses, and dogs with the figure of a woman on a Corinthian column capital. Front plate with large hour ring showing the latitudes of different places. Two hands. Opposite to it two small rings, one of which shows two hands. On this same plate there is figure of a woman pointing to a ball (?) Below, lady with a dog. A large dial on the back (identified as an astrolabe) with a plate (rete) which is a rotating network with star indexes, fits over a flat plate with etched lines. The ends of two arms are decorated with a sun and crescent moon. Clock housing on base with figures and horses in relief.
