Description
Literature

This pattern is 100 years old and won first prize at all the State Fairs in the Middle West. Illustrated in "Quilts and Their Story" by Marie D. Webster (p.60). A long and slender dark green stem grows from a small green triangle in the bottom right hand side of the piece. It branches off into two long stems ending in rust colored buds that point towards the corners. The center stem is interrupted in the center by a large rusty flower with a yellow patterned center and continues on towards the top left hand side of the piece to end in a rusty bud.
