Pattern from 1850. Illustrated in "Quilts and Their Story" by Marie D. Webster (p.54). A large red rose dominates the center of the piece with a red and yellow patterned circle in the middle. Four green leaves branch out from the center towards the sides and end in small red buds with patterned fabric centers.
