Description

Castleford-type white salt glazed stoneware teapot and cover. The spout is curved with foliate design around the base and a band of blue trim around the top. The handle is angular with blue trim. The body of the teapot is divided into panels trimmed in blue. Inside the panels are relief designs of figures and leaves. There is a band of blue circles around the top of the teapot. The cover is domed with a tri-folated finial and blue striping with a conventional border in relief.
