Teapot and cover in form of sitting bear wearing muzzle. The bear is sitting on its haunches, the front paws hugging the spout. The detachable head was used as a drinking cup. Handle and spout are left in white glaze, while a harness of red slip decoration is around the neck and muzzle. The brown glaze over the surface clay with pieces of clay thrown on when wet, gives a realistic impression of rough brown fur.
