Description

Outside the gate of Enya Hangan's mansion, Yuranosuke shows the dagger Enya used to commit seppuku to the rōnin who remain, telling them of his pledge to avenge the death of their former lord using this very same knife.
Possibly made to commemorate the staging of the Chūshingura at the Ichimatsuya Theatre in Edo starting 11.5.1858.
