Description

The bridal journey with Fuji in background. Attendant is tying Konami's sandals, her mother Honzo stands by. They are on their way to Yamashine and to Rikiya, the betrothed of Konami. Chūshingura border.
Print commemorates the staging of the Chūshingura play at the Ichiwaya Theatre in Edo starting 11.5.1858.
