Mourning picture (identified as in memory of Mr. Giles Peckett and Mrs. Margaret Peckett). There are plants and grass in the foreground. A full length female figure (identified as dressed in the style of the 1790s with pointed slippers) in a long black dress is standing between two urn-shapes on pedestals (identified as memorial sculptures). A willow tree is at the left and the branches stretch to the top center of the image. A bird, head down and wings out to the side is above the figure. There is a partial head with brown hair in the clouds in the background.
