Description

Actor Nakamura Tomijūrō I (1719-1786) as Hanako the dancer in play "Musume Dōjōji". She wears kimono with a urokogata (snake) scale design. Temple at top right among flowering sakura petals. She dances while beating her tsutsumi drum with two sticks.
