Rural landscape. Horizontal orientation, rectangular image with small quarter circles cut out from each corner. Sandbar and Ōi river bank run on a diagonal from bottom right corner to center left. River fills bottom left corner. Figures, some carrying objects, in river, on sandbar, and on river bank. Flat, open area fills center of composition. Mountains rise in background. Black, yellow, green, and blue are predominant colors with some gray, red, and orange.
