Rural mountain landscape. Horizontal orientation, rectangular image with small quarter circles cut out from each corner. Cliffs rise on right side, tree hangs from cliff at top center. Road at center foreground with figures walking, carrying goods. Road continues in middle ground, right side with additional figures. Figures wear hats and outerwear (miho coats), their ankles sink into mud. Cliff in foreground, left side. Mountains rise to fill background. Streaks in sky indicate rain. Blue-green and gray are predominant colors with some yellow, blue, red, and brown.
