Description

Rural landscape. Horizontal orientation, rectangular image with small quarter circles cut out from each corner. Road runs horizontally through bottom of composition, three figures on road, one carrying empty open-sided sedan chair. Three trees line road, two with pink blossoms (sekuras). Large open rice field in middle ground, small village beyond field at center. Lake Biwa cuts horizontally through background, ships dot surface of water, mountains rise beyond. Vibrant colors, including pink, green, blue, gray, yellow, brown, and red.
