Catalogue raisonné

Rural landscape with large body of water at center. Vertical orientation, rectangular image with small quarter circles cut out from each corner. Bottom third of composition, shoreline in foreground. Small thatched roof structures, bottom right corner. Grassy area with trees gives way to beach with a group of figures pulling ropes in from water. Body of water dominates middle ground. Ships, with sails up, dot surface of water. Rugged shoreline at right middle ground, structures and trees near edge of water. Mountains cut through background from right, tapering off ¾ across composition. Sky covers top third of composition. Blue, green, and gray are predominant colors, with some yellow, orange, and red.
