Rural mountain landscape at night. Vertical orientation, rectangular image with small quarter circles cut out from each corner. Road cuts on a diagonal through foreground, bottom right quadrant. Seven figures walking on road carry goods, palanquins, and large torches. Three large trees line road. River runs diagonally next to the road through the center to the bottom left corner. Mountains dominate background, cutting through the center of the composition. Black, dark gray, yellow, and blue are predominant colors, with some red.
