Rural landscape in winter. Vertical orientation, rectangular image with small quarter circles cut out from each corner. Village scene in foreground. Small creek runs from right near bottom through lower center and cuts back towards right, ending in center of composition. Two bridges cross creek, two figures cross bridge at right side. Buildings visible at far right and left sides in middle ground, trees throughout composition. Top half of composition, background, large field gives way to mountains with Mt. Fuji at left. Large areas of image are without color, blue, gray, and red are predominant colors.
