Rural mountain village scene. Vertical orientation, rectangular image with small quarter circles cut out from each corner. Composition dominated by large mountain (Mt. Fuji), with peak jutting above outline of image, top just left of center. Mountain is in background, top third of composition. Middle ground, middle third of composition, steep mountains dotted with trees, some buildings visible in left middle ground. Foreground, bottom third of composition, village scene. Line of small structures at right side, group of three trees at end of structures, just right of center. Figures and horse visible on road. Road fills foreground and splits to curve through middle ground, left side. Green and gray are predominant colors with some yellow and red.
