Description

Staffordshire dark blue tranfer printed vegetable dish with cover. Around the sides of the dish are scenes depicting, "Sheltered Peasants." The ridge around the top of the dish has a floral border. The two, short handles stick straight out from the dish and are solid blue. The cover has floral bands around the sides. The top of the cover has a landscape scene and flowers. The finial on the cover is in the shape of an octopus(?) and is solid blue.
