Description

The Chase County court-house, completed in 1873, was built of limestone from a quarry west of Cottonwood Falls. It is in the Renaissance style of architecture of the period of Louis XIII. It has a basement, two stories and a cupola, extending 112 feet from the ground to the top of the flag-pole.
