Image of a sparrow and flowering rose plant. The flowering plant extends from upper right to the bottom left corner. It has dark and light green leaves and a thin stalk. The flowers have many petals of white and dark and light pink. The bird is in the center and has brown and gray wings with a white underbelly. There is a circle of white and brown on its cheek and its mouth is open. There is calligraphy in the top left corner, a kyōka poem by Zegai, and in the bottom left corner (artist inscription) with a red seal.
