Description

Jar made from orange clay that has a rounded body and a short neck. Around most of the body of the jar is a wide band of design identified as a "migration pattern" that has wide, diagonally oriented shapes that are rounded at each end and have three sharp points that face toward the center of the design. Each of those diagonal shapes is connected to the one next to it with a short band. All of the migration pattern is filled in with very thin, parallel black lines. Above and below the pattern, the negative space is painted in with red paint, and there is a black band at the top.
