Description

Wide headband made from ostrich egg shell beads. Each bead is flat and round with a hole in the center and they are woven together in an offset pattern with the wide parts of the beads together. In the center of the headband there is a horizontal strip where the beads are woven together with the centers lined up, giving that row a denser texture. In the center of the band there is a rectangular tab that extends down from the bottom edge.
