Description

This plant is dark green. The stem of this alga extends from the bottom left third of the page up towards the top right corner of the page. The stem itself is thin, but the leaves which grow out from it are long and flat. They resemble blades of grass in shape. There are also what appear to be small, round seed pods growing from the stem. In the top left corner is a green stamp which reads, “Marine Algae.” To the right of the base of the plant is a purple stamp reading, “Herbarium Henry Perrine.” In the bottom right corner is a white square with space for writing information about the plant.
