This piece is an image of alga. The plant is dark brown. The base is a stem pointing towards the left side of the page. Three stalks shoot out from this stem and extend up the page. The stalks also have offshoots. There are bulbous, lighter-colored, oval-shaped areas on these stalks. In the top left corner is a pale green stamp which reads, “Marine Algae.” To the right of the plant is a purple stamp reading, “Herbarium Henry Perrine.” In the bottom right corner is a white square with spaces for writing information about the plant.
