A woman wearing green robes bends at the waist and sips from a small glass of bitters. A man kneels in front of her, presenting a tray holding a bottle of the product. In the top left corner of the card is an advertisement reading: “Prickly Ash Bitters. A Remedy for All Diseases of the Liver, Kidneys, Stomach & Bowels.”
The verso is an advertisement for the product. The proprietors of Prickly Ash Bitters Co. are located in St. Louis and Kansas City, MO. A stamp at the bottom of the card has been partially obscured by tape and adhesives. The stamp was for a seller of the product located in Abilene, Kansas.
