Description

This card shows a train pulling into a station on an icy winter night. There are three figures in the foreground sledding and greeting the train. On the left are holly branches with leaves and berries. On the right is the text “The Great Wabash Route” with “December 1885” in the lower center of the card. Below the image in very small print are the words “Rand, McNally & Co.”
The verso is text. The heading reads “Sensible Santa Claus.” Below is a three stanza poem about the Wabash.
