Four engravings have been attached to a thick paper backing. The top left engraving depicts a woman wearing a long dress and a crown. Her hands are clasped in front of her and she is looking at the ground with a worried expression on her face. She is standing in the doorway to a small balcony with a bench around the walls. A book is open on one of the benches. Wooded hills are in the background.
The top right engraving shows the woman worriedly having a discussion with a man wearing armor. His armor includes chain mail and a helmet.
The bottom left engraving depicts a woman in bed. She is hugging one child while the other is leaning heavily on her knees, the child’s hands covering their face. A monk stands beside the bed with his hands clasped. A dog is at the foot of the bed.
The bottom right engraving shows a monk riding a white horse and brandishing a sword in the air. He is facing towards another man who is running away. This man is standing behind a horse and one of his hands is in the air. A man with a helmet, shield, and scabbard stands behind the fighting monk and appears ready to join in the fight. An armored man lies on the ground between the fighters.
