Small round box with a lid that fits into the top and sits flat. All parts are made from thin pieces of birch bark with the edges covered in sweetgrass. The sides are decorated with zig zag lines of porcupine quills dyed red and green. On the top of the lid there is a starburst pattern in white porcupine quills.
