Flat wood carving made from a single, thin piece of yellow cedar wood. The wood is carved into the shape of a bird, identified as a raven, in profile with its head extended upward. The features of the bird are carved in relief, using design forms like u-shapes and ovoids. Most of the surface is painted black, with the wings, beak, and eyes painted in red and green, and the outlines of the features left the natural color of the wood.
