Description

A passenger pigeon, also known as a wild pigeon, sits on a thick branch that extends from the bottom left side of the page to the center of the right side of the page. This bird is being fed by a pigeon that is sitting on a thinner branch above it. A short, round building is in the background. Birds are flying in the background as well. The print is in shades of brown, yellow, pink, and gray. The scientific name for the bird is printed below the image: "Columba migratoria", though this is incorrect. Its true scientific name is "Ectopistes migratorius".
