Seven birds (Carolina parakeets) are perched on two bare, leafless saplings. Though the title implies that there are robins in the image, the birds appear to be parakeets. Their beaks are short and rounded whereas robins’ are thin and flat. Their heads are a different color than their bodies and very vibrantly colored. Two are reddish-brown with bright blue heads, two are dark blue with red heads, two are very deep purple with yellow heads, and one is yellow with a maroon head. It appears to be night-time in this print. The background is blue, white, black, and red. The scientific name for the birds is printed below the image: "Psittacus carolinensis".
