Description

Two cardinals sit on branches which extend horizontally across the page. The bottom branch extends from the right side of the page to the center. The cardinal on this branch is less colorful than the other, indicating that it is female. The top branch extends the full width of the page. The bird on this branch is a colorful red male. His perch is leafy with small berries growing on the tiny offshoots. The colors of this print are muted. A hazy sun is in the background. The scientific name for the birds is printed below the image: "Fringilla cardinalis".
