Image of a man playing a drum, executed in a stenciled style in red and black. Descriptive text in center of image. Text refers to the occupation of Ford Hall at Brandeis University. This occupation included African American students of the university, Black students from other colleges, and white classmates that protested in solidarity. The students gained an academic department of African and African American Studies, increased recruitment of Black students, and Martin Luther King Jr. scholarships.
