Description

Flute carved from reddish brown wood, with six finger holes and a row of holes around the circumference of the distal end. Above the finger holes is a flue, covered with a metal plate and a wood carving of a stylized bird. Holding the bird in place is a long strip of tan leather. There is silver colored metal inlaid into the wood in two thin bands at the distal end, in the shape of two diamonds on either side of the start of the finger holes, and near the mouthpiece there is a thin band with two long, pointed extensions.
