Flute made from a thick piece of cane and decorated with bands of stamped metal. The reed is very light tan in color but has several areas that are darkened by burning. There are seven finger holes, each separated by a thin, flat strip of silver colored metal. In between the mouthpiece and the finger holes are five bands of metal in alternating brass and silver colors, each separated by a thin, raised band of acopper colored metal. Each band in stamped with bands of diagonal lines, triangles, and small crescents.
