Flute in four parts, made from carved wood, stained a dark, mottled brown color. There is one breath hole in part a, three finger holes in part b, three finger holes in part c, and one brass key on part d. On both ends of parts a and d, there is a thin band of carved ivory. On part c, there is one more band of ivory, on the end that slips over part b.
