Flute carved from wood and stained a dark brown color. At the closed end it is wider and rounded, carved with overlapping rectangles, each with a small, round inlay of silver colored metal. At the tip, there is a small wire loop with a metal wire pulled through it. Just above the finger holes there is another wide, rounded area with carved circles, also inlaid with silver colored circles. Around the smooth part of the flute around the mouth hole, there are three bands of thin, flat, solver colored metal wrapped around the flute. In the section with the six finger holes, there is a long, thin strip of metal that is wrapped around the flute in a spiral.
