This is a newspaper about Kansas farmers. A description is in the lower left corner of the front page: “New Farmers is a collaborative research project between photographer D. Bryon Darby, designer Tim Hossler, and sociologist Paul Stock. An observation of today’s independent farmer, the project is an ongoing exploration of experiments in contemporary farming.” The images are black and white. The text is primarily in black ink, though some headings, quotes, and key phrases are printed in red ink.
