Description

A group of figures read or sing from a hymnal entitled: Expressly Written for Republican Party. The figure on the left wears a top hat and a bow tie. The figure in the fore-front right wears a bowler hat and drinks from a glass while looking out towards the viewer. Behind the two figures is an elephant with a halo. The elephant raises both of his front legs, indicating he is standing on his hind legs. His mouth is open as if he is in the midst of singing. The phrase at the top of the drawing reads "Onward Christian Soldiers".
