Large basket and lid, made from plant fibers woven in a herringbone pattern and stained a very dark, nearly black, color. The bottom of the basket is square and has a bamboo edge. The sides are straight and go up to a round opening, also wrapped in a bamboo edge. there are two lonog handles of braided plant fibers that extend up from each of the corners. There is a large flat lid that sits over the top of the basket and has a bamboo edge and rim made from a flat piece of bamboo.
