Image of figures in a landscape. There is a white wave in the center of the composition with a figure in white standing at the top. There is black smoke in the background on the right in the shape of an eagle with two heads. There are soldiers in the foreground fighting with women and children. There is a large cannon in the bottom left corner. Some of the people are being swept up into the wave. The horizon line is about halfway down from the top of the page.
