A view of the Tournai Marble Font at Winchester Cathedral. The upper portion of the font depicts scenes from the life of St. Nicholas. It is made from a single block of limestone. Since the upper portion is highly polished, it used to be identified as marble. The upper portion is supported by a large, stone base and has four corner columns.
